It occurred to us the other day when we had to enlist the help of a machete wielding guide from the rain forests of Brazil to get to our front door that maybe it’s time to do some gardening.
After the cries of “Why me!?!?” and the alarm bells of warning about approaching hard work had died down we set about taming our jungle.
Body aches – check, hands covered in blisters – check, jungle tamed – CHECK!
Great work! I did the same today, why always even on the pavement we have this weed? That’s a miracle.
I hate weeds! Can you imagine weed free world – it would be so awesome!
I can, specially today :o) maybe a weed-free world would be too much (and some guys and their hookahs would hate us for this wish) but a world without stinging nettles and thorns would be nice too :o)
Certainly a dramatic improvment.
Feel sorry for me, though. My jungle literally needs a chainsaw to tame. It also has a nasty habit of retaliating using thorns and sharp branches, so I generally come back bleeding.
Need a hand?
gimme a call and we will sort out your jungle in no time… just might need few more chainsaws 😉
Looks great. I need to get out and sort our front garden. I keep planting new things and they don’t seem to grow out there. I have no problem in the back garden though. My only question is – why is it that weeds have absolutely no problem growing just about anywhere?
Weeds are weird! I wish herbs could grow like weeds… it would be so cool
