Review – Zoflora – Concentrated Disinfectant 3 in 1 action

I love our house and I try to buy the best products I can in order to maintain it.

Our journey with Zoflora started over 5 years ago when we bought out house and bought 2 kittens. We had 2 small messy creatures in our home and I was desperate for a product which would do the job of disinfecting all desired surfaces but also leave a pleasant aroma. There is nothing worse than a house which smells like a hospital after a good cleaning session.

I remember the first time I used Zoflora… I couldn’t believe the smell which was left after cleaning…  it was like someone broke bottle of wonderful perfume in our house… a lovely fresh aroma, which stayed with us for a good few days after.

From that day there has always been Zoflora present in our home.

So what is Zoflora Concentrated Disinfectant 3 in 1 action?

This is a powerful concentrated antibacterial disinfectant liquid that not only kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, but also contains a powerful odour elimination ingredient and beautiful long lasting fragrance leaving your home hygienically clean and fresh.

How to use it?

General disinfection of surfaces
Use Zoflora diluted 1 in 40 with water. 1 capful (10ml) will make 400ml. e.g. the 120ml bottle makes 4.8 litres of full strength disinfectant. When diluted as above Zoflora becomes non-flammable.

Bathrooms
In bathrooms use diluted to wipe over: floors; tiles; sinks; toilets; baths; taps and other fixtures and fittings. Zoflora may only be used undiluted in ceramic and metal sinks, drains and toilets.

Hard surface pet areas
When correctly diluted, Zoflora may be used where most pets are kept. It will kill bacteria and eliminate unpleasant odours. Do not allow pets to lick or walk on wet treated surfaces. Keep off until dry. When disinfecting pet toys, finish by rinsing in cold water and drying thoroughly. Not suitable for use in vivaria or other housing where reptiles are kept.

Use as a spray
Dilute as above and use as a spray to create a fragrance freshness throughout your home.

How I use it?

There are a few ways I use Zoflora:

• As an addition to my floor cleaner, this way I can have clean and awesome smelling house at the same time for longer
• As an addition to the washing powder when washing the dog towels or dog beds – this is purely for disinfecting purposes
• As an air freshener – I put some water and a few drops of Zoflora in the dish and then leave it on the window sill in all the bathrooms and toilets – it is a great way to keep it smelling fresh and much cheaper option that buying an air freshener 🙂
• As a pipe freshener –  we have an unused on-suit in the house and every now and then the pipes go dry and they simply smell bad, so every few weeks I pour a glass of water mixed with few drops of Zoflora down the drain – sink, bath, shower and toilet… this stops stinky smells and gives our spare bathroom a fresh aroma

Zoflora Concentrated Disinfectant 3 in 1 action can be found in most stores including all supermarket chains. So, it works, it is fairly cheap and it can be found without any problems. And you have a lot of lovely fragrances to choose from; some of my favourites are Linen Fresh and Lilac. But to be totally honest with you every time I see a new one on the shelve I will pick it up and buy it… just to make sure I am not missing something even more special.
