Review – multiVAPE by multiCIG – Hope for all the smokers out there

multiVAPE by multiCIG

*by Mark

There comes a time when you start to question aspects of your life and wonder if what you are doing is really in your best interest. For me it was the other day whilst standing in the wind and rain having a cigarette. I had been fighting off a cold for a couple of days so my chest was already tight and uncomfortable, and here I was in abject misery, cold and wet, compounding the situation.

Time for a different approach I think to myself!

Now followers of Bark Time will already know that this is not the first time we have been at this crossroads and that we both have played at various solutions to our addiction. From patches to white plastic tubes with cartridges in them to even dabbling in the new e-cig vapping craze, but as we have already established I was standing in the wind and rain smoking so obviously nothing has worked so far.

Then in a wonderful case of synchronicity we were offered to try a multiVAPE by multiCIG. Yes it is another type of e-cig but this one has a presence that begs you to pay attention, so I did.

my multiVAPE by multiCIG

The package arrived and the first thing that struck me was the weight, it had some. I was expecting a fly weight box but this one felt though it has some substance, eagerly I opened it. Inside all nicely boxed in individual compartments was the highly polished silver e-cig, a charger, a small bottle of the liquid in natural tobacco flavour and the ubiquitous user manual.

The e-cig itself is a solid well engineered item that splits into three parts. You have the mouthpiece, the chamber where the atomizer is surrounded by clear glass or plastic (hard to tell which) were you pour the liquid and can easily see how much is left and then finally is the base where the rechargeable battery is. The instructions state that you must fully charge the battery before using so I dutifully plugged it in to discover it had come fully charged already, a nice touch. The next step was a little fiddly as you have to fill the liquid reservoir without getting any into the atomizer, a task for a steady hand. Then simply screw the pieces together, easy.

multiVAPE by multiCIG in use

Depressing the tiny button on the side 5 times powers up the e-cig and a comforting blue light lets you know you’re good to go. Then it’s a simple case of using like a regular cigarette except when you go to inhale you have to press the button to activate the atomizer.

First impressions where very good for me as the smoke actually had some substance. I had taken a big drag expecting the sensation to be very mild and ended up coughing just like I did when I first had a proper cigarette; the second go was much more restrained. If you have ever tried to smoke a shisha pipe it is a remarkably similar experience, the smoke is cool with texture and flavour. Now don’t expect the taste to be anything like your go to packet you smoke every day, you do need to look at this as a new brand. It was very good at satisfying the cravings and had the additional benefit that you only need a couple of drags and your done, no more smoking the second half of a cigarette even though you don’t really want it just because they are too expensive to throw away!

In the true nature of showbiz my e-cig saved its biggest plus till last and it came a couple of days later. My chest relaxed and my mouth stopped feeling like a parrot’s cage in the mornings. I could breathe much easier and taste my food better; this is awesome as far as I am concerned.

I have been using my multiVAPE for a couple of weeks now and the love affair is well and strong, yes I have had a couple of regular cigarettes but I now found that they actually taste awful so that desire is going away.

multiVAPE by multiCIG - other flavours
The other thing I would mention is that the liquid you buy comes in a variety of flavours such as menthol, coffee, cherry with more planned in the future, happy me. The bottles are rather small when you first see one and I wondered how long they would last. I put around 1/3rd into the chamber of me e-cig and it took me almost 4 days to empty it, and I am not a casual smoker, so the savings over £9 a pack cigarettes is HUGE!

Though, all is not perfect in the e-cig world. The one and only complaint I have against the system is if you leave it lying around for the night for example in the morning when you take your first drag it gurgles as if some of the liquid has leaked out or the atomizer has flooded. On one occasion it did actually deliver some unvaporised liquid into my mouth which was not tasty at all, it has only happened once to be fair so may have been my handling as opposed to a design fault. I have since discovered that if you prop it up when not using so the mouth-piece is elevated then the problem is completely eradicated.

In conclusion I think this system is the future, it works for me and I would happily recommend it to my friends. It will save you money, save your lungs, restore your taste buds and bring you into the 21st century.

our multiVAPE by multiCIG

Go forth and Vap!

Do you Vap? Did you try or are you one of the rare none-smoking healthy types?

Review – Vype Reload, rechargeable e-cigarette

I am not new to the e-cigarette, I have tried quite a few of them by now and so far I haven’t found the perfect one.

Vype reload is a bit different… just look at it…

Vype Reload

Vype reload for me is like a cross over between the disposable and the rechargeable e-cigarettes that I’ve used so far.
It is a rechargeable e-cigarette yet it comes in very small and neat packaging, which is a tremendous plus… as I not always have a space to carry a full size rechargeable e-cigarettes kit. I personally like the design of Vype reload, I like it a lot. It is much smaller and it fits in your pocket if needed. But not only the packaging is small and neat… the e-cigarette itself is smaller too; actually it is the same size as a real cigarette.
If you read any of my e-cigarette reviews that I have written before you will notice that I have always had a problem with them being too big and too heavy, Vype reload has resolved this problem and created something as close to a real cigarette as possible (size and weight wise).

Vype Reload and the other brands - check out the size difference

Vype Reload and the other brands – check out the size difference

But let’s take a step back for a minutes and start from the beginning.

So you buy yourself a Vype reload… what do you get?

  • One sleek and funky looking case
  • One USB charger
  • Two fully charged e-cigarettes (two batteries + two cartridges)
  • User instructions

inside your kit

This is pretty all you need to keep you going. You can purchase all of this for £14.99, which is a much lower price than other brands on the market.

Replacement cartridges start from £7.99 for 2 units… they have a savings offer… the more you buy the cheaper they get… to give you an example you can purchase 5 packs for £29.99, giving you a saving of almost £10.

This kit is easy to use and there is no need for any preparation before the first use. You get it and open it and you can vap away in no time.

What about the flavour?

My kit arrived with two classic flavour cartridges. Flavour wise they do resemble your standard cigarette, and strength wise they were spot on….

Vype offers 3 different flavours at this moment – Classic Bold, Classic Regular and Menthol.

In the past I struggled with different flavoured cartridges which were coming all in one shape and colour, with no markings to tell them apart… Vype resolved this problem as well… their cartridges have small coloured bands, which help you recognised which flavour is which.

I don’t use the Vype reload all the time, so I am unable to give my opinions about the battery and how long lasting it really is. For me the occasional use, it does the job well.

Final words about Vype reload

Nice looking kit at a low price. Realistic looking cigarette with perfect weight and coloured band on cartridges gets a thumb up from me.

All my earlier issues I had with e-cigarettes has been resolved, so it looks like I have no more excuses, just have to go vaping full time 😉

* I received one kit for free for review purpose. All opinions about the products are honest and my own.

Review – multiCIG disposable electronic cigarettes

multiCIG disposable electronic cigarettes

multiCIG disposable electronic cigarettes

So, we are still categorized as smokers. We have had a lot of progress lately but still cigarettes are an inseparable part of our lives. It is not so easy to quit 😦

I was offered to try multiCIG electronic cigarettes and I gladly said:”yes, please”. I could choose a trial kit or disposables cigarettes. As I have never tried any multiCIG products before I went with the disposable electronic cigarette, as most new clients would do, simply because they are cheaper and I also liked the packaging 🙂 You might laugh a little now that I chose my product based upon its packaging but the multiCIG disposable electronic cigarette comes in a single box, which makes carrying it around so much easier. There are other companies on the market who sell their disposable cigarette stuck to a piece of cardboard so once you open it, you have nowhere to hide it. We all know how tricky lighters can be and how easy they get lost, believe me when it comes to the cigarettes themselves they are even more cunning…

So, my small parcel arrived and in it where two multiCIG disposable electronic cigarettes, one in each flavour – golden tobacco and menthol. There is also a third flavour available on their website called classic tobacco. I was trying to find some information about what is the main difference between the classic and the golden tobacco, but I was not able to. They have the same strength, 18mg of nicotine, so maybe the flavour is just a little bit different, I am really not sure.

These multiCIG disposable electronic cigarettes are really easy to use. There is no need for charging at all, you just open a packet and off you go… you can smoke away or should I rather say vap away.

Ready to go in no time...

Ready to go in no time…

The multiCIG disposable electronic cigarettes cost a reasonable £7.99 each, when you think that they are equivalent to 40 standard cigarettes, so you are already saving money. In addition to the money you also make huge savings in the risk factors against your own health and potentially the health of others around you… the multiCIG disposable electronic cigarettes have no ash, tar, smell or smoke, but you still get the satisfaction from the action of smoking and of course your nicotine fix.

The multiCIG disposable electronic cigarettes feels surprisingly real in your hand, again being pernickety they are a little bit heavier and a little too fat, but they are close enough to the real thing so as not to be a nuisance… they also work as stated – they give you the satisfaction of smoking without the negative side effects.

The multiCIG disposable electronic cigarettes are the entry point in the multiCIG electronic cigarettes range… if you decide that they are for you and you enjoyed the experience, you can use a 50% discount code printed on the back of your cigarette pack to purchase a starter kit.

I know that for most people £69.99 for a starter kit is a lot of money but… you can get 50% off this price and comparing it to the price of cigarette itself – it can be argued it is a real bargain.

I would recommend multiCIG disposable electronic cigarettes if you want to start your journey with electronic cigarettes. They are a cheap way of “testing the water” and making sure that vaping is for you.

I did however found something missing on the multiCIG website – nicotine free cartridges. I was thinking what about all those people who are really determined to quit, including giving up on the nicotine part as well, but maybe would like to keep vaping for old time sake?

Product was provided free of charge (2 packs of disposable cigarettes) for review purposes. The opinions expressed in this review are honest and my own.

Review – NicoBloc 99

home-page-imageWe are still struggling with our smoking habit. Currently the weather has been kind to us, so smoking outside isn’t such a huge deal at this moment, but any week now it is going to change and we will be forced to have a cigarette in the pouring rain outside the front of the house.

We just want to stop smoking.

I am very open to any and all new products out there, in the hope that something will help us quit. When I heard about NicoBloc I obviously wanted to try it out.

So what is NicoBloc*?

NicoBloc is a coloured fluid that you apply to the filter of the cigarette immediately before smoking. Typically you use the product over a six-week period to prepare you to quit smoking by reducing gradually your nicotine intake to allow your body to adjust gently to physical changes that occur during the drug withdrawal.

Whilst other systems help overcome the withdrawal syndrome once you have stopped smoking, NicoBloc prepares you physically and mentally and helps you before you break the habit completely.

The NicoBloc solution is not taken orally but is put on the filter of the cigarette without significantly changing its taste. Because of this, it does not have any counter-indications or interfere with any medication, so it can be used by anyone, including pregnant women.

You keep smoking but slowly reduce your tobacco consumption until you stop entirely.

There are no withdrawal symptoms, as NicoBloc helps your body adapt gradually to the reduction of nicotine levels at the same time as the number of cigarettes smoked is also being reduced.

The NicoBloc solution is not ingested; you apply it to the cigarette filter.

NicoBloc blocks the ingestion of nicotine and harmful tar, which causes cancer, by up to 99%.

It does not have any counter-indications or produce undesired effects.

2013-08-17_13-02-02_182So what do you receive once you order your NicoBloc?

You will receive a:

         –  15ml vial of NicoBlock liquid, which will last you up to 2 weeks

          – Instruction on how to use it

How to apply NicoBloc?

When applying more than one drop at a time, you should follow the steps described one by one. That is to say, you should not apply all the drops without following the 4 steps below.

Step 1

Make a deep indentation into the cigarette filter with the bottle nozzle.

Step 2

Squeeze the correct amount of NicoBloc fluid into the filter immediately before you smoke it. Follow the complete application process 2 or 3 times as required, applying one drop each time, rather than applying double or treble size drops. Allow each drop to soak in before applying the next drop.

Step 3

Use the nozzle to spread the fluid, so that it covers the total filter surface.

Step 4

Squeeze the filter a few times; this helps it to absorb the fluid.

Step 5

Light the cigarette and immediately take a strong first draw, before smoking the cigarette as normal.

2013-08-17_13-02-39_118Note :
The NicoBloc solution should be applied to the filter immediately prior to smoking.
It should not be applied to all the cigarettes in the pack at the same time.
The solution remains active for about 5 minutes after being applied.
Thereafter, it dries out and becomes ineffective.

How much of NicoBloc should you apply?

Week 1

One NicoBloc Drop – 33% Nicotine and Tar is blocked – reducing the addiction to Nicotine and the harmful effects of tar.

Week 2

Two NicoBloc Drops – 66% Nicotine and Tar is blocked – further reducing the addiction to cigarettes.

Week 3

Three NicoBloc Drops – 99% Nicotine and Tar normally consumed is blocked and by this stage the consumer trials prove that 60% of users have given up smoking.

So does it work?

I think it actually does work. After 3 weeks of using it I don’t crave cigarettes so much and I definitely smoke less. I am still on only 1 drop each cigarette, as I chose to take it easy and reduce the amount once I feel more confident I can deal with it. NicoBloc doesn’t change the taste of your cigarette at all in fact I am sure if someone would pass you an already made and lit cigarette, you wouldn’t even know the difference. The only downside is that I have to prepare each and every cigarette straight before I want to smoke it. This isn’t always possible for example on a long drive I would roll a few cigarettes before setting off here I cannot take advantage of the NicoBloc liquid… so I have to try and use NicoBloc as often as I can.

I am not sure if this would be a good idea from a business perspective as the cost of packaging would go up exponentially but what about selling them in single doses of NicoBloc in some form of one use delivery system? It might be more convenient and quicker to use and would always ensure the correct dose. I mention this because it can sometimes be difficult from the chunky bottle supplied to get just a single drop. If in a rush or multitasking in this modern hectic lifestyle it is all too easy to overdo it.

If you are struggling to quit smoking and you are determined to succeed I think NicoBloc might be just what you are looking for. Yes, it does require some “work” but it also gives visible results in a fairly short amount of time.

If you decide to take this road, stick with it and good luck!

Review – Smoke Relief Electronic Cigarette

Smoke Relief

Lately we have been under huge pressure regarding our smoking in general, especially smoking in the house. In a few months time it will be categorically a big NO NO! I guess in summer time it will not be such a big deal, but imagine running outside and standing in the rain every few hours when you want to have a smoke. I was looking at our options and tried to find a solution to this problem. I know that giving up would be the best option but unfortunately this is easier said than done. I read about electronic cigarettes but I did not have a lot of faith in them. So when I was offered the opportunity to try and then review a Smoke Relief Electronic Cigarette I jumped right at it.

Firstly let’s answer some basic questions.

What are electronic cigarettes?

Ever seen “smoke” machines in nightclubs?

It’s actually vapourised glycerine. Smoke Relief electronic cigarettes or “e-cigarettes” are battery-powered devices that give you inhaled doses of glycerine vapour mixed with nicotine and one of seven flavourings (tobacco, menthol, cherry, peach, cappuccino, vanilla, and apple.)

How do electronic cigarettes work?

Each electronic cigarette consists of a battery and a cartomiser (atomiser and cartridge combined). As you draw on the cigarette the cartomiser gets powered up and vapourises some of the flavoured nicotine which you inhale as “smoke”.

So why use it?

  • Looks and feels like a real cigarette – although it’s a bit heavier
  • Freedom to smoke it anywhere in the UK – buses, trains, planes, bars, clubs, work
  • Cheaper than cigarettes – roughly equivalent to £1 a packet.
  • Nothing to offend other people around you
  • No teeth discolouration or nicotine-stained fingers

I was sent a Deluxe Rechargeable eCigarette Kit. It came in a lovely sealed box. First impressions are very important and this kit for sure leaves a good one. Deluxe Rechargeable eCigarette Kit would make a perfect gift for someone without any extra fancy packaging. It looks really nice and luxurious.

Your magic box full of wonders

This is what you get

So what do you get in your lovely box?

–       Deluxe Smoke Relief Charger Box

–       2 x Lithium-ion cigarette batteries

–       USB cable and charger

–       Instruction Manual

–       5 x 18mg tobacco cartridges – equivalent to 100 cigarettes

–       5 x cartridges of your chosen flavour and strength – equivalent to 100 cigarettes – I was sent a 18mg mixed flavours selection including Apple, Cherry, Peach, Vanilla and Cappucino

What's in the box

What’s in the box

At first I wasn’t so sure what to do… but I didn’t even open the box. For days I was walking around it, just looking at it and telling myself “Ok, today is the day!” Finally one day I built up the courage to open it up and give it a go… I am really glad I did so.

Once you open it, the rest is really easy. You follow clear and easy instructions and within minutes you can be ready to go.

putting together your electronic cigarette couldn't be easier

putting together your electronic cigarette couldn’t be easier

I started with a tobacco flavoured cigarette. I found it a little bit heavy so I swapped it for the Apple flavoured one and it was a good call. They are really great! It is just like having an old style cigarette without the awful stink. While using it I did not find any downside. You still keep your hand busy, you still get your nicotine fix and you still can see smoke coming out of it… and most importantly you are reducing the health risks for you and everyone around you.

I did however find a few areas where they could be made just a little bit better and more user friendly. Flavoured cartomisers have no markings on them. I did find it a little hard to pick the right flavour I wanted at the time. Your charging box has 4 slots for cartomisers, but as they all look the same, it is not so easy to remember which slot was taken by which flavour. And my second suggestion: if possible it would be nice to make them lighter. Mark smokes really tiny roll-ups and for him keeping it is quiet uncomfortable; it doesn’t feel right due to the heavy weight.

In general I would recommend Smoke Relief Electronic Cigarette to everyone who still smokes. It doesn’t have any real downsides. This change would be very positive for you, your health, your family and friends and of course much easier on your wallet… just think what you could buy using all the money you will save!

Smoke relief offers a few options for new users:

Deluxe Rechargeable eCigarette Kit

Cartomizers are sold in packs of 5. Their price vary depending on the quantity you order (from £5.95 per 5 to as little as £4.75 per 5pack if you order 100+). One cartridge is good for 250-300 puffs and is equivalent to approximately one pack of 20 cigarettes. So 5 cartridges = 100 cigarettes.

Smoke Relief cartridges are available in the following flavours: Tobacco, Menthol, Peach, Vanilla, Apple, Cherry, and Cappuccino flavours. There is also an option of mixed cartridges box (apple, cherry, cappucino, peach, vanilla) so you can sample the other flavours and pick your favourite.

A discount code is also available for free shipping on the first order. Please use code SHIPMYKIT

There is a one thing to remember! Electronic Cigarettes are NOT an aid to giving up smoking.

Smoke Relief electronic cigarettes are a harm-free alternative to old-style tobacco cigarettes for existing smokers. They are not a particularly good way to give up smoking because you are still addicted to the nicotine and you are still getting the full smoking experience. If you want to give up smoking you are best advised to just stop smoking or use a support group like Nicotine Anonymous or for more general advice www.smokefree.nhs.uk.
